The new Ford Focus will take centre stage at the Paris show ahead of its arrival in the UK next year.

Ford's Paris show news will cover:

■Production-ready five door and estate derivatives

■Confirmation of exciting performance model

■Winning 'One Ford' global strategy underpinning simultaneous new Focus production in Europe and America.

New Ford of Europe chairman and CEO Stephen Odell will host Ford's on-stand news conference at 9.15am on 30th September 2010.

Ford of Britain managing director Nigel Sharp will also be available to interview as the company renews its medium car range. The new C-MAX, first shown in March at Geneva, goes on sale this autumn in both five- and seven-seat body styles.

New Focus follows in the spring for the new "11" plate – and is set to continue the car's huge success, which made it UK best seller for 10 years to 2009 when new Fiesta resumed the top spot.
